Music of the Moment - February 8, 2009

Got a slow one for you today. I'm pretty new to William F. Gibbs, a singer/songwriter from Troy, Alabama, but I like what I've heard so far. Although it's not on the same level, a lot of his music is reminiscent of older Coldplay; similar chords and sounds just with a different lead singer. The first song that I heard from Gibbs was Chasing Lights from his 2008 debut, My Fellow Sophisticates. Gibbs prides himself on his ability to reach several types of listeners with his songs.
