Sunday's Best Featuring Bears/Cowboys & Jets/Pats

First off, shouts to the Bears. After last weeks loss close game win the Lions, not many people thought we would hang with the Cowboys yesterday. And we won. One of the main reasons we won was this amazing one-handed catch courtesy of Devin Hester:

But the defense really played well as did Jay Cutler. The Cowboys have to be nervous now after going 0-2. Superbowl, what Superbowl?? Wade Phillips is definitely showing sadness today.

The other play that caught my attention was the insane one-hander from Randy Moss versus the Jets:
The ONLY reason I'm putting the Hester catch over Moss' is because we won our game....but that's fair right???


One other thing, I'm not sure if Vick is for real about being cool with being Kolb's back up but I AM glad he balled out against Detroit yesterday. I hope he gets to keep the starting spot.


Saints/Niners tonight. Hopefully we have a good good.

BEER THAT MAN: Derrick Rose

So the Bulls needed a win...bad. What does Derrick Rose decide to do?? Idk, just drop 39 on the Celtics. Not only was this the greatest scoring performance of his career, it also kept the Bulls in playoff contention. And even though the first round would be a match-up against Lebron and the Cavs, we definitely need to make it there. This dunk from last night's game pretty much sums up Derrick Rose's awesomeness.


Big game tonight versus the Bobcats for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Whether you want to believe it or not, baseball season is here. *sampsigh* And with MLB's Opening Day and the NCAA Men's Championship game both in the books, with the exception of the NBA playoffs, we are about to be subjected to months and months and MONTHS of baseball. Might as well make the most out of it, right? I'm not expecting to post much about baseball this year but it's not every day that one of my Chicago White Sox players makes the play of the year....on Opening Day. Don't believe me, just check out what Mark Buehrle did:
Pretty crazy, right? Hopefully we're in store for more plays like this throughout the year.

Yea, I understand that it's the middle of March Madness but since my bracket is T'd and the teams are taking a break before the Sweet Sixteen, I figured I'd take a break for the NBA. BEER THAT MAN: Shannon Brown

So, Preseason NBA basketball started recently and I had yet to catch a game. Luckily, my boy @TheRealFlyGuy sent me a link to catch the Lakers/Warriors game. I haven't been much of a Lakers fan since Shaq left but I am a big Kobe stan fan. Kobe balled like he usually does but the play of the night came when Chris, I mean Shannon Brown posterized Mikki Moore. Just watch:

Vicious. And I can't say I didn't see it coming. It's 2009, this dude's name is Mikki and he has dreads.

Being in the NBA and having dreads is making a firm decision not to be good.
