Finally back on this blogging shit and for a very good reason. I KNOW you saw Portugal serve North Korea with the 7-0 jealous in the World Cup yesterday. But in case you didn't:
Yea. Definitely one of the most dominant/embarrassing soccer matches I've ever seen. But thanks to North Korea's stronghold on it's citizens, I'm sure they saw the game a little differently:
Nike has released its first campaign for the upcoming World Cup with the Write the Future video. It's a pretty basic concept but what makes it dope is that it shows the impact the international stars have on their home countries. It features appearances from footballers Drogba, Ronaldinho, Ribery, Landon Donovan, Fabio Cannavaro and my favorites, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. It also has a handful of appearances from other celebrities which should come as a surprise:
There's also four other short clips that show possible results of this year's tournament. I mean, a great tournament can boost you to international stardom. But at the same time, one bad game could turn you from a worldwide hero to a legendary failure.
When you win...
But if you lose...
Nike does my favorite advertisements, hands down. Can't wait for the World Cup.
[Note: This must have been shot before they announced that Ronaldinho wasn't playing for Brazil. I still don't know what that's about...]
