Coachella Might Be a Stretch....I'll Settle for Brochella

Man, just look at that lineup. I'm super t'd that I might not make it to Cochella this year. And this is basically a blower. I mean, Kanye West headlining; MGMT, Crystal Castles and Odd Future doing shows; and even Lil B and She Wants Revenge are getting love. Damn. But no worries, this year my bros and I are going to Brochella.

One Last NFL Post...

Now that the Bears aren't in the running for the Superbowl, I could really care less about how this season ends. So with my final post of the 2010-2011 NFL season, I bring you Brett Favre: What Should I Do?

Even though that was funny as hell, I promise that this is my first and last Brett Favre post.

To All The Packers Fans Out There...

....and I mean that.

Um, Happy Monday??

Only five days until Friday.

So...about this NFC Championship.

Look at that picture. There's definitely gonna be a whole lotta that going on tomorrow afternoon. I'm quite aware about how the Packers played last week against Atlanta but still, our defense is playing insane and our offense is finally clicking after a full season under Mike Martz' system. The Bears have only been this good one other time since I've been alive, so I'm confident we can get it done. Final Score: Bears 27, Slackers: 17. Unh.

Underdogs by 4?? Word, I'll take it.

Crystal Castles x Robert Smith - Not In Love [Video]

What's not to love about a new video from band that uses video game sounds from the same video game it was named after and is dope as shit?? That made zero sense so instead of trying to figure out, just check this new video for the Crystal Castles and Robert Smith (The Cure) song Not In Love. It's pretty dope.....in a trippy, psychedelic, acid-induced, Pink Floyd kind of way. Check it out:

Another gem from the leader of Oddfuture. Pretty dope remix done by White Indian. Sounds completely different from the original but still dope nonetheless. Ow.

Been Gone For A Minute.......Again.

It's only the third week of 2011 and I feel like so far I've only done three things:

1.) Look like this from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm:
2.) Go here from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm:
...and 3.) Look look like this from 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm:

Rough life, huh??

I guess. But don't feel too bad because hopefully all of those will eventually lead to this:

Yea, the blog's back again.

LSU vs. Texas A&M....and Who's Sticking Around Next Year???

Gotta make this quick...mainly because I'm on my lunch break and this game is pretty much a no-brainer. I'm predicting a big win as the Tigers dominate, 27-14. I'm note even worried about the game. The only real storyline/questions will be which players and coaches stick around for next year. With Michigan having a vacancy and Les Miles being both a former player and leading candidate three years ago , there's no guarantee that he won't be the front-runner this time around.

The major long-shot to stick around for a senior campaign is definitely First Team All-American corner, Patrick Peterson. With so many experts and mock drafts having him in the Top 10 of this year's draft, he's more than likely gone. But can't I DREAAAM??!

Another major development is speculation that this may be Jordan Jefferson's last game as the starting quarterback for LSU. Now that Zach Mettenberger's gonna be in the picture this Spring, Jefferson's starting spot isn't guaranteed. I was pretty sure that JJeff was going to be first team SEC-caliber next season and I wanted to see him back to lead the Purple & Gold. I at least hope it can generate some heated much-needed competition at the QB position.

But I guess that remains to be seen.

But the main thing that remains to be seen is this ass whoopin that LSU is about to put on A&M. And when they do....

The Orange Bowl featuring Touchdowns, Safeties and.....Sleeping Mothers???

Aaaaand we're back with awr's first Bowl Game review for the season. Yea, late...I know.

This year's Orange Bowl was a game for about...the first half. Andrew Luck went crazy for four TD's en route to a 287 yard game as (5) Stanford routed (12) Virgina Tech 40-12 last night in Miami. It was rough for my man Tyrod and the ACC Champs pretty much throughout the game. And when I say rough, I mean "Man, my mama sleep in the stands" rough. But seriously, look:
I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't surprised by the outcome, and that Tyrod's mom was alseep, but it is what it is. Here's the recap:
I'm intrigued to see where Jim Harbaugh, who Darren Rovell nabbed as the most :coveted coach at any point in football history," ends up next year.
I was very impressed by Andrew Luck so maybe he is who we he thought he was....or maybe Virginia Tech just wasn't that good this year.

Probably both.
