Pusha T feat. Kanye West & Young Jeezy - Amen [MP3]

EGHCK.

New Pusha T and it's right on time. This joint features the man of the hour, Kanye West and of course Young Jeezy. It's called Amen and just by the title alone it falls in line with the theme of Pusha's Fear Of God: Let Us Pray due hopefully later this month. I mean, I wasn't even expecting any Pusha today so of course this is a great surprise. Unh.

Glad I Waited...

Photobucket
But the shit wasn't easy.

I was one of the few people I knew that did NOT download Blueprint 3 before it dropped yesterday. And I'm actually glad that I did. The shit rocks. My immediate favorites are A Star is Born with J.Cole, Real As It Gets with Young Jeezy and On to the Next One with Swizz Beatz. [Beat is INSANE.] I would have said Hate with Kanye was my favorite but I heard it before yesterday. All in all, I'm satisfied with the album. Jay's really relying on wit, wordplay and persuasive on this album versus in the past when he was going with just an all-out verbal assault.1 Pharrell's joint is really good and so is the Cudi joint but I'm still not really digging the Drake feature. Hov should have probably given Drake a verse and the album as well as offered Wale a verse. I feel like the Wale feature was the only real thing missing from the album, but maybe we'll see Jay on Attention Deficit.

We can only hope.

Got a week til Cudi drops and I'm gonna hold off for that one too. Aughh.

Music [Video] of the Moment - April 24, 2009

In the midst of being disappointed by a my squad in Chicago, someone else from Chicago saved the day. Finally, Kanye's video for Amazing feat. Young Jeezy dropped. And did I mention it's a Hype Williams joint?? Very wavy indeed. And 'Ye has been doing mad production and guest appearances lately. I'm not mad.

Yeezy's back.
Uh oh.

Music of the Moment - August 21, 2008

So back when Nas put out Hip Hop Is Dead back in 06, Young Jeezy made comments against the title of the album and even questioned Nas' street credibility. It seems that the two have put their past behind them to collab on the song My President Is Black for Jeezy's new album, The Recession. I'm glad that the two of them were able to put everything behind them and focus on the important thing: good music. Jeezy's album is dropping on September 2 and includes features from Nas, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Check out My President Is Black.
