Van She - Changes [MP3 + Download]

Van She is one of many bands that I didn't start listening to until a few years after they reached the peak of their popularity. I almost loafed. If it wasn't for me checking samples on Crystal Castles' first album, I probably would've never found em. Funny how samples work. It turns out that Crystal Castles sampled Van She on one of my favorite songs of theirs, Vanished. [Get it...Van She...Vanished?...alright.] You have to listen closely to get the sample, but it's there.

Anyway, the point of all this is to show you the song Changes which is my favorite track off of Van She's debut album V. It even has a little bit of a Phoenix-y sound around the hook. Check it out.

Trillectro Is Coming.

What is Trillectro?

By now, you should definitely know but just in case you don't, I'll let Modi, Quinn and Marcel tell you:

Back. Hopefully For Good.

A lot has changed since I last posted:

• Lebron got a ring....finally, 
• I've finished 4 of 5 seasons of the greatest show in the history of the world, Friday Night Lights [Full post coming soon] and
• My sister Alexis ripped her pants when she was raging too hard here in DC. [Love you, Lex!] 

All in all, the summer has started off with a bang and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.

Dark Knight Rises [Trailer #3]

Dark Knight Rises, Ted, Prometheus, The Bourne Leagacy, Men In Black 3 [major stretch], Total Recall and G.I. Joe 2. And I'm sure I missed a couple. It's gonna be a wild ass movie summer.

Evidently, Dark Knight Rises Is About To Be Amazing

Yeesh. The build up for this movie is insane. And this trailer released yesterday will only add to the hype. It's gonna be a hot summer if Chris Nolan has anything to do with it.
